Ohk energy is actively seeking an experienced Commercial Solar Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role focuses on helping businesses across Ireland transition to clean, renewable energy solutions through tailored commercial solar PV systems.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, qualify, and develop new commercial solar opportunities across a range of sectors.
  • Conduct on-site and virtual consultations with business owners, facility managers, and key decision-makers to assess site suitability and energy requirements.
  • Work closely with internal design and technical teams to develop customised commercial solar proposals, including system design, ROI analysis, and projected energy savings.
  • Present and negotiate proposals clearly and professionally, addressing technical, financial, and operational considerations.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial engagement through contract signing.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and performance KPIs.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM systems.
  • Provide feedback to marketing and sales leadership on market trends, competitor activity, and lead quality.
Skills / Abilities / Experience Required
  • Previous sales experience with a proven track record of success is essential.
  • Solar industry experience is mandatory (commercial or residential solar experience accepted).
  • Experience selling commercial energy, construction, or technical solutions is a strong advantage.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and business decision-makers.
  • Self-motivated, well organised, and results driven with the ability to manage a long sales cycle.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem solving skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems.
  • Full clean driving licence required.
