Job Description

A leading organisation within the energy and fuels sector is seeking a Commercial Pricing Analyst to join their commercial team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to influence pricing strategy, drive margin optimisation, and provide data-driven insights that directly impact business performance.

Working cross-functionally with commercial, finance, retail, and operations teams, you will play a key role in ensuring competitive pricing and supporting strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage pricing models across retail, commercial, and contract channels to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behaviour to identify opportunities for margin optimisation.
  • Produce regular reporting on sales, margin performance, and market positioning to support business decisions.
  • Support the development of commercial proposals and pricing strategies through robust data analysis and insight.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with advanced Excel capabilities and experience handling large data sets.
  • Proven experience in pricing, commercial analysis, or financial modelling within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities to tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
