Commercial Manger - Dublin

DOE: €110k - €150k

Company Overview:

O'Neill and Brennen are currently recruiting for a contractor seeking a Commercial Manager who will be responsible for leading the commercial function across several projects concurrently. You will be managing a team of quantity surveyors and are responsible for ensuring projects are delivered successfully in line with business expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the commercial management of multiple construction projects from inception through to final account.
  • Prepare and review monthly CVRs, forecasts, cash flow reports and project valuations.
  • Oversee contract administration, variations, claims and cost control, ensuring contractual compliance.
  • Manage procurement, subcontractor packages and commercial performance across projects.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and project teams while protecting the commercial position.
  • Lead, mentor and develop the commercial team, ensuring successful project delivery and high performance.
Qualifications & Experience
  • B.Sc. Construction Economics / Quantity Surveying with minimum 5+ years at Senior QS level with Tier 1 Contractor, or currently operating at CM level.
  • A proven track record in delivery of complex projects on time and within budget, on projects up to €100m.
  • Chartered MSCSI / MRICS, or embarking on the APC process.
  • Strong Time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • IT literate, with experience in Microsoft Office, Cubit / CostX, COINS.
  • Full, clean driving licence with ability to travel within RoI and UK.
