Responsibilities
  • Provide commercial oversight and control to ensure delivery of projects in line with client side commercial arrangements and company strategy.
  • Manage key contracts and liaise with internal and external stakeholders on major contracts.
  • Promote contract awareness and provide advice on commercial matters.
  • Implement and oversee commercial processes (including procurement) and ensure compliance with contract obligations.
  • Communicate contract terms and financial aspects to stakeholders.
  • Coach and develop employees on best practices for managing complex contract issues.
  • Build and nurture client relationships to deliver long term value.
  • Engage in negotiating and agreeing contracts prior to placement and in bid processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement of commercial processes.
  • Accept extra duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a contract/commercial management role, handling high value, complex contracts.
  • Background in corporate finance, financial reporting, budgeting, and cost management.
  • Foundational experience in complex negotiations and stakeholder management.
  • Strong knowledge of contract terms and construction industry regulations.
  • Confident, professional manner with excellent presentation skills.
  • Determination, resilience, and positive outlook in challenging situations.
  • Leadership attributes and ability to inspire teams.
  • Innovative mindset and willingness to challenge conventional thinking.
