Job Description
Commercial Manager - Permanent - Coventry - Established Organisation - Water Industry - Hybrid Working Managing cost reporting for allocated projects, including cost forecasting and anticipated final cost Monitoring and reporting on all commercial aspects of projects, proposing mitigation actions for any issues. Managing the assessment and valuation of contractor applications and payment certifications Producing payment applications/invoices and managing commercial risk and claims Providing advice on change management and producing documentation for approval Ensuring proper retention and archiving of commercial records and undertaking final account settlements Collaborating with stakeholders on managing contracts and supplier relationships to maximise commercial and contractual benefits.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you must have:Proven experience in commercial management within the civil engineering industry, ideally within the water sector Experience managing NEC contracts and a strong understanding of commercial practices and risk management Sound financial and analytical skills, with experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting Excellent negotiation and communication skills Full UK driving licence.
