Commercial Manager - Dublin, Ireland (f/m/d)

Responsibilities
  • Lead commercial management activities across project delivery and close-out phases.
  • Provide commercial advice to project and client teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage cost control, forecasting, budgeting, change management, and commercial reporting.
  • Assess compensation events, variations, claims, and contractual entitlements.
  • Support procurement and contract administration activities.
  • Monitor project financial performance and identify commercial risks and opportunities.
  • Lead commercial negotiations with contractors and suppliers where required.
  • Contribute to project governance, reporting, and lessons learned activities.
  • Support final account agreement and project close-out processes.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Significant experience in commercial management of major infrastructure, rail, transportation, utilities, or civil engineering projects.
  • Experience managing project costs, forecasting, and change control processes.
  • Ability to interpret and administer complex contractual arrangements.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary project environments.
  • Professional membership (e.g., RICS, CIOB, ICE, or equivalent) and experienced in Irish infrastructure projects is advantageous, but not a must.
  • Relevant HSE training or site safety certifications are beneficial but can be obtained following discussion with the employer.
