Responsibilities- Lead commercial management activities across project delivery and close-out phases.
- Provide commercial advice to project and client teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage cost control, forecasting, budgeting, change management, and commercial reporting.
- Assess compensation events, variations, claims, and contractual entitlements.
- Support procurement and contract administration activities.
- Monitor project financial performance and identify commercial risks and opportunities.
- Lead commercial negotiations with contractors and suppliers where required.
- Contribute to project governance, reporting, and lessons learned activities.
- Support final account agreement and project close-out processes.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Significant experience in commercial management of major infrastructure, rail, transportation, utilities, or civil engineering projects.
- Experience managing project costs, forecasting, and change control processes.
- Ability to interpret and administer complex contractual arrangements.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary project environments.
- Professional membership (e.g., RICS, CIOB, ICE, or equivalent) and experienced in Irish infrastructure projects is advantageous, but not a must.
- Relevant HSE training or site safety certifications are beneficial but can be obtained following discussion with the employer.
