At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced and dynamicCommercial Managerfor our client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage all commercial aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.
• Prepare, review, and negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor and control project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance to ensure profitability.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery and adherence to contract specifications.
• Prepare and present regular reports on commercial activities, project status, and financial metrics to senior management.
• Lead the resolution of any commercial disputes or issues that arise during projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Commercial Manager within the construction industry, typically 5+ years.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and commercial regulations.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control techniques.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency with commercial management software and Microsoft Office suite.
