Commercial Litigation Solicitor (Newly Qualified)

Leading Regional Law firm is looking to appoint a Newly Qualified Commercial Litigation Solicitor into their team in the Midlands. Responsibilities:

1. Play an active role in the development of the commercial litigation department.
2. Handle a caseload of all aspects of commercial litigation, including shareholder disputes, contentious probate, building disputes, professional negligence disputes, and partnership disputes.
3. Work directly alongside the partner, demonstrating ambition and drive to progress your career.
4. Engage in business development and marketing within the local area.
5. Participate in all parts of the litigation process, including disclosure, case management, drafting witness statements, attending trials, and settlement negotiations, including arbitration and mediation.

Requirements:

• Genuine passion for Commercial Litigation with some working knowledge of all aspects of commercial litigation.
• Experience within a leading national or regional law firm.
• Handled a mixed caseload of commercial litigation matters.
• Strong network of contacts within the regional market.
• Proven experience in the full litigation process, advising UK and international corporations, governments, and high net worth individuals is preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate experience in all parts of the litigation process, including advising on settlements.
