Commercial Litigation Solicitor

Salary: £50,000-£65,000 (dependent on experience)

What you'll do:

  • Advise clients on a broad spectrum of commercial disputes, ensuring efficient and strategic resolutions.
  • Act on shareholder, partnership, and director disputes with sensitivity to client objectives and wider business interests.
  • Handle professional negligence claims with technical excellence and strong commercial judgement.
  • Assist with urgent dispute resolution matters such as injunctive relief and reputation-sensitive cases requiring prompt action.
  • Manage matters independently at an appropriate level while receiving guidance and supervision from senior colleagues.
  • Work directly with clients to support the development of long-term relationships built on trust and understanding.
  • Contribute actively to business development initiatives by collaborating with colleagues across the firm to deliver joined-up advice.
  • Engage in collaborative teamwork within a supportive environment that values quality, integrity, and ongoing development.
  • Participate in responsible business programmes including community investment activities and pro bono work.
  • Maintain compliance with employment screening processes to uphold honesty and integrity throughout the organisation.

What you bring:

  • Qualified solicitor with at least 3 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in commercial litigation or dispute resolution roles within reputable law firms.
  • Proven ability to advise on complex commercial disputes involving contracts, shareholders, partnerships, directors, or professional negligence claims.
  • Exceptional drafting skills coupled with analytical thinking that enables you to interpret intricate legal documents accurately.
  • A client-focused mindset demonstrating empathy for client needs while maintaining strong commercial judgement.
  • Confidence working collaboratively on challenging matters as part of a cohesive team dedicated to delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Willingness to take increasing ownership of cases as your experience develops within a supportive leadership structure.
  • Interest in business development activities aimed at building lasting client relationships through shared success.
