BCL legal are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for an International Commercial Disputes Lawyer (4 to 7 years' PQE) to join a leading global law firm in Birmingham. This is a unique chance to work with a market-leading team known for providing world-class legal services to prestigious clients across multiple sectors.

The Role
This role sits within a Tier 1 International Commercial Disputes team, where you'll have the chance to advise clients on complex, high-value disputes across a wide range of industries. You'll work on:

- High-profile international arbitration and litigation matters
- Dispute avoidance and resolution strategies
- Multi-jurisdictional claims and cross-border cases
- Alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and adjudication

The successful candidate will benefit from working alongside partners and senior lawyers in a collaborative and supportive environment. You will also have the opportunity to build strong relationships with international clients and gain exposure to complex, high-stakes disputes from day one.

The Candidate

- Qualified in England & Wales (or Commonwealth jurisdiction) with between 4 and 7 years' PQE
- Experience in commercial litigation with a solid understanding of international arbitration (desirable but not essential)
- Demonstrates strong technical skills and a keen commercial approach to disputes
- A proactive, client-focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple, varied matters effectively
- A collaborative team player with excellent communication and organisational skills
