Our client, a multinational organisation, is seeking a Legal Counsel / Commercial Lawyer to join their busy and growing in-house legal department for a 12-14 month fixed-term contract.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a candidate eager to develop and progress their skills. You will handle a wide range of high-value, complex, and multi-jurisdictional commercial contracts and agreements.
Based in Yorkshire, the company offers hybrid working arrangements and is open to candidates willing to work in their offices 1-2 days per week.
Ideal Candidate Profile:- Be a UK-qualified solicitor with at least 4+ years PQE and a proven track record
- Have strong experience in drafting and negotiating high-value, complex commercial contracts
- Assist the business with other legal matters, including compliance, anti-bribery, and dispute resolution
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commercial outlook
- Capable of balancing legal risks with the business's commercial and operational needs
In-house experience is desirable; however, candidates from private practice with strong business and commercial skills are also encouraged to apply.
While 4+ years PQE is considered a relevant benchmark, applications from candidates with different levels of experience but relevant skills will also be considered.
