Job Mission

As Commercial, Contractual and Procurement Strategy Lead (CCPS Lead), you will take a senior leadership role in shaping the procurement and contractual strategy for our new opportunities in the Netherlands. You will design tailored commercial structures, support technology vendor selection, and drive critical contracting milestones in alignment with technical, regulatory, and policy frameworks.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a fit-for-purpose commercial and procurement strategy aligned with project requirements, technical needs, and regulatory constraints.
  • Lead the drafting, negotiation, and execution of high-value contracts for engineering, construction, and technology supply.
  • Advise the Contracting Authority on legal, commercial, and procurement risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with Dutch and EU public procurement regulations throughout all procurement processes.
  • Coordinate contract performance monitoring, change control, and claims prevention activities.
  • Collaborate with engineering and regulatory experts in preparing tender documentation and specifications.
  • Provide commercial oversight during vendor evaluations and contract finalisation stages.
  • Mentor junior team members and support knowledge transfer to client personnel.


Your Profile

Essential

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Law, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in commercial, contractual, or procurement roles in infrastructure or energy megaprojects.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and negotiating contracts for nuclear or similarly regulated sectors.
  • Expertise in large-scale contract structures, risk allocation, and stakeholder negotiation.
  • Fluent in English; familiarity with Dutch or EU procurement frameworks is highly desirable.
  • Availability to travel and collaborate in a multi-national environment.

Desirable

  • Contract Management certification (e.g., IACCM, CIPS).
  • Prior experience in nuclear new build programmes.
  • Understanding of Dutch governmental and energy sector structures.
