Commercial Catering Engineer - London

We are recruiting for a long-established national commercial catering service and maintenance provider, supporting major facilities groups, restaurant chains, hotels, schools and hospitality venues for over 30 years. Due to continued growth, my clients are expanding their engineering team and are now seeking experienced Commercial Catering Engineers

The Role

You will be responsible for the service, maintenance, repair and fault-finding of a wide range of commercial catering equipment across our customer sites. This is a field-based, customer-facing position where you'll represent the business and deliver high-quality engineering support.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and repair of commercial catering equipment
• Electrical and gas fault-finding
• Diagnosing breakdowns and completing reactive repairs
• Providing excellent customer service on client sites
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to industry standards

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• COMCAT 1, 2, 3 & 5
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Relevant electrical experience (18th Edition, HNC, NVQ, City & Guilds - advantageous)
• LPG & FGAS Refrigeration (advantageous but not essential)
• Strong background in commercial catering equipment servicing

Package & Benefits

• Basic Salary:up to £45,000
• 40-hour working week
• Door-to-door travel paid
• On-call rota: 1 in 8
  • £70 on-call allowance
  • Overtime paid at enhanced rates
• Overtime Rates:
  • 1.5x after 5pm Monday-Friday
  • 2x on Sundays & Bank Holidays
• £750 annual sick pay bonus (£150 per unused sick day)
