Our client, a leading technology company, is seeking a Commercial Analyst to join their team on a temporary contract until October. This is a newly created role supporting the commercial function, with a strong focus on Deal Desk activities, commercial terms, and contract administration within a fast-paced SaaS environment.
The successful candidate will have experience supporting commercial or sales operations and be comfortable reviewing commercial terms and conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Deal Desk and Commercial teams with the administration and review of customer deals.
- Review commercial terms and conditions within customer agreements and contracts.
- Assist with the review and validation of discounting, rebates, pricing, and commercial structures.
- Ensure commercial terms comply with internal policies and approval processes.
- Work closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, and other cross-functional teams to facilitate deal approvals and contract execution.
- Maintain accurate commercial records and provide day-to-day administrative support to the commercial function.
- Previous experience in a Commercial Administration, Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, Revenue Operations (RevOps), or Contracts Administration role.
- Experience working within a technology or SaaS environment is highly desirable.
- Exposure to reviewing commercial terms and conditions.
- Understanding of discounting, rebates, pricing models, and commercial approval workflows.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
This role would suit someone who has supported commercial teams within a technology or SaaS business and has experience working on customer deals from a commercial administration perspective. You'll understand how Deal Desk functions, be familiar with reviewing commercial terms, and have exposure to pricing, discounting, and rebate structures.
