Location: HMP Albany (IOW), Albany, 55 Parkhurst Rd, Newport PO30 5RS

Salary: £41,818.21 per annum

Contract: Permanent, full time, 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday

We are seeking a dedicated Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team at HMP Albany (IOW), a category B adult male prison.

We Are a Ministry Of Justice Business And Provide Critical And Time-bound Services To HMPPS, And Are Looking For a Engineer - Combustion With a Combination Of

• Two years experience working in a role as a heating engineer, a combustion engineer or equivalent
• Must be familiar with and able to work to Water Supply Regulation and Control of Legionella L8 requirements
• Must be familiar with and able to work to Gas safe (installation and use) regulations 1998 and associated industry Standards
• Experience of working with commercial catering gas appliances would be beneficial
• C&G 6035 (Plumbing), C&G 6189 (Plumbing and heating) and NVQ level 3 in Plumbing
• CCN1 - Core domestic gas safety and relevant domestic appliance units
• COCN1 - Core commercial gas safety certificate and relevant commercial units
• Good Health & Safety knowledge.
• Excellent organisational, time management and people skills.
