Manpower are currently seeking an interim CMI Manager (Beauty Design Innovation), to work with our global FMCG client Unilever, renowned for brands such as Dove, Sure, Persil, and Simple, to become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment.

The position is based at Blackfriars on London's Victoria Embankment, just a short walk from Blackfriars tube. This is a full-time temporary role to last until mid-May 2027, requiring 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Compensation for this role is competitive, paying up to £77,000 per annum, pro rata, depending upon experience.

The role currently offers a mix of remote and onsite working, subject to adjustment based on business requirements.

Someone who can spot opportunities, understand what will really address consumer pain points and help bring those ideas to life through a variety of sources. A growth hunter.

You are an innovator. You're comfortable using a wide range of research and analytical tools and are familiar with both new and traditional data sources. You have a desire to learn about other CMI approaches to deliver holistic insights.

  • Synthesizing data and analysis into impactful, growth/action-orientated deliverables for internal stakeholders and communicating key findings, insight and ramifications to stakeholders and peers.
Key Requirements
  • You've got extensive disruptive innovation experience as a data-driven innovator
  • You understand the dynamics of Masstige/Prestige Beauty - and how it's not "business as usual" for B&W
  • You've got some global experience - particularly China and India
  • You're a digital native. You have a passion for the digital world and its implications for business, from influencer marketing to e-comm innovation.
  • You have an eye for design and a passion for beauty
  • You can tell a story with impact, both verbally and written.
  • You know how to interrogate a question from the business, to build a brief and appropriate response.
  • You have some experience with using analytical tools in a growth hacking framework
  • You are confident in an ambiguous context. This role will not suit you if you work only to well established processes
  • You're able to work flexible across cultures and timezones
  • You're not of fixed mindset. You are calm & confident in ambiguous contexts and willing to navigate change with flexibility and agility.
  • You're not wedded to linear and fixed brand/people partnering. You will flow to work where the growth is.
  • You are a team player who is open-minded and collaborative.
