The company is looking for a Cloud Performance Engineer to build and optimise high-performance cloud infrastructure supporting latency-sensitive workloads. The role involves working across cloud, networking, Linux, and automation, collaborating with engineers across the business to improve performance and reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Design and optimise AWS and hybrid cloud environments
• Work across cloud networking, routing and switching
• Build and maintain performance and latency monitoring
• Automate cloud infrastructure and network configurations
• Develop tooling to collect and analyse performance metrics
• Troubleshoot performance issues across cloud, network and Linux systems

Skills/Must Have:

• Strong AWS experience, particularly EC2, VPC and Direct Connect
• Solid networking background - TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing & switching
• Experience with Cisco networking
• Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
• Strong Linux skills and understanding of the Linux network stack
• Python and Bash scripting
• Experience with Docker / Kubernetes
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Salary:

• Up to 200k basic salary + bonus
