We're looking for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join our client's architecture function, focusing exclusively on cloud architecture and design rather than implementation.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has progressed from a 3rd Line/Infrastructure Engineer background into Cloud Architecture and has strong hands-on infrastructure experience alongside the ability to design complex enterprise cloud environments.
You'll work closely with a dedicated implementation team, providing the architecture, technical direction and design for cloud projects across the business.
What we're looking for
- Strong Microsoft Azure architecture experience. Azure is essential
- Strong infrastructure background, ideally progressing from 3rd Line/Infrastructure Engineering
- Experience designing hybrid cloud and enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge of identity, networking, security and infrastructure architecture
- Experience with cloud governance and architecture frameworks
- Experience designing and supporting cloud migration programmes
- Proven experience producing high-quality architecture designs and technical solutions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with implementation teams
Nice to have
- Microsoft Fabric experience
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) experience
- Experience across multiple cloud platforms
Important
We are not looking for an Azure Engineer or Cloud Analyst.
This role is firmly focused on architecture and design. We're looking for an infrastructure-first professional who understands how enterprise environments work, has genuine hands-on technical experience, and has developed into an architect capable of designing robust, secure and scalable cloud solutions.
Location: Fully remote. Anywhere in Europe
Salary: €75,000 per annum.
Bonus: Up to 10%, based on personal and company KPIs
Start: Immediate start preferred
