Cloud & Data Platform Engineer - Switzerland/Hybrid

What You'll Do

• Develop, build, and run cloud-native data platforms across private and public cloud environments
• Operate and maintain modern databases and streaming technologies such as MongoDB, Kafka, and OpenSearch
• Automate infrastructure and deployments using Python, Terraform, or Pulumi
• Integrate databases into Kubernetes clusters using DB Operators for smart life cycle management
• Collaborate closely with Back End teams on microservices and event-driven architectures

• Hands-on experience in cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) - certifications are a plus
• Solid knowledge of NoSQL and streaming technologies (MongoDB, Kafka, Elastic)
• Experience with Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code principles
• Background as a Backend Developer or DevOps Engineer with an understanding of microservices and event-driven systems
• Bonus: familiarity with Databricks or comparable data/analytics stacks
• Fluent German (spoken and written) and good English
