Cloud Consultant

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Azure Specialist Consultant to support our client in Brussels. As an external consultant, you will be responsible for delivering cloud architecture, implementation, and optimisation projects within Microsoft Azure. You will collaborate closely with internal IT teams, business stakeholders, and other consultants to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on and implement Azure infrastructure projects (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Migrate on-premises workloads to Azure and optimise cloud resource usage
• Provide hands-on setup and configuration of Azure services (VMs, storage, networking, security)
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Support cloud governance, security policies, and compliance standards
• Conduct knowledge transfer and prepare technical documentation for internal teams
• Act as a technical advisor on Azure best practices and architectural decisions

Profile Requirements:

• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure in a consultancy capacity
• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services, architecture, and automation
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps, ARM templates, PowerShell, and Azure CLI
• Experience in customer-facing roles or project-based environments
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-500) are highly desirable
• Fluent in English; French or Dutch is a strong advantage
• Eligible to work as a freelancer/contractor in Belgium
