Cloud Architect - GCP Rome or Milan (Hybrid) Italian Speaker

We're supporting a major client in the banking sector with a key hire - and this one's for the Cloud Architects who know how to navigate complex migrations and thrive in enterprise environments.

The Opportunity:

Our client is undergoing a large-scale infrastructure migration to GCP and is looking for a seasoned Cloud Architect to join their internal team. You'll be working on high-impact projects, guiding the technical vision, and ensuring a smooth and secure transition from on-prem to cloud.

Location: Milan or Rome (on-site 2x per week)

Start: ASAP

Rate: DOE

Language: Fluent Italian is essential

What You'll Be Doing:

• Driving the cloud migration roadmap from on-premise to GCP
• Designing secure, scalable, cost-efficient cloud architecture
• Advising on GCP services (Cloud Run, Cloud Engine, Load Balancers, etc.)
• Embedding cloud governance, FinOps, and security best practices
• Acting as the go-to technical authority on cloud strategy
• Collaborating with stakeholders across engineering and business teams

What We're Looking For:

• Proven background as a Cloud Architect leading GCP migration projects
• Hands-on expertise with core GCP services: Cloud Run, Compute Engine, VPC, BigQuery, etc.
• Solid grounding in networking concepts (VPNs, firewall rules, interconnects)
• Strong knowledge of cloud governance, security, and FinOps
• Experience in banking/finance environments = big plus
• Fluent Italian speaker who can operate in a hybrid Rome-based setup
