Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud Architect with deep expertise in cloud security and DevSecOps to join our Engineering Chapter. In this role, you will design, implement, and secure cloud-native infrastructure solutions, ensuring security is embedded throughout the development and operations lifecycle. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant solutions for the Consumer Centricity organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Architecture & Security: Design secure, scalable, and compliant Azure cloud infrastructures aligned with business and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, NIS2).
• IAM & Access Control: Implement Azure Entra ID, PIM, RBAC, MFA, and Conditional Access to enforce least-privilege access.
• Governance & Compliance: Enforce governance using Azure Policy, Blueprints, Defender, and Management Groups.
• Data Protection: Architect encryption strategies using Azure Key Vault, Disk Encryption, and secure data transmission protocols.
• DevSecOps & Automation: Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines using tools like ArgoCD, Azure DevOps, and IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM).
• Monitoring & Incident Response: Use Azure Sentinel, Monitor, and Defender for threat detection, response planning, and compliance monitoring.
• Networking & Hybrid Cloud: Design secure virtual networks, VPNs, NSGs, load balancers, and hub-spoke architectures.
• Disaster Recovery: Develop secure DR and business continuity strategies.
• Cost Optimization: Monitor and optimize cloud spend while maintaining security and performance.
• Collaboration & Mentorship: Work with DevOps, security, and development teams to promote secure design practices and mentor peers.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years in cloud security, architecture, or DevSecOps roles.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with secure Azure environments.
• Strong knowledge of IAM, Azure Entra ID, RBAC, PIM, MFA, and Conditional Access.
• Deep understanding of cloud networking, hybrid cloud, and virtual networking.
• Experience with Azure security services: Defender, Sentinel, Key Vault, Firewall.
• Familiarity with security frameworks: ISO 27001, GDPR, NIS2.
• Proficiency in IaC tools: Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and security integration (e.g., SonarQube).
• Strong scripting skills: PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Security Engineer Associate).
• Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, CISM).
• Experience with Kong, Event Hubs, Dapr.
