Clinical Tutor in Geriatric Medicine, 0.5 FTE, Specific Purpose Contract

The School of Medicine at the University of Galway are looking for suitably qualified and experienced candidate for Clinical Tutor in Geriatric Medicine on a specific purpose contract for leave cover for a 0.5FTE appointment.

The successful post holder will serve the educational needs of the undergraduate medical programme and will be expected to contribute to the planning and delivery of teaching, student support and assessment duties. The School of Medicine has an enrolment of c.1000 students, including many from overseas. University College Hospital, Galway is conveniently located beside the University campus and is the major teaching hospital. Salary: Clinical Tutor 1 salary scale: €70,276- €82,756 per annum or Clinical Tutor 2: €83,847- €102,619 pro rata per annum. The relevant salary scale will be determined based on candidate's experience and in accordance with the terms and conditions of the University's Remuneration policy.
