Our client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our Digital, Data & IT Team at Merck Healthcare. This role combines clinical trial management expertise with IT project management and requires deep knowledge of the healthcare industry's regulatory standards.


Main responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of clinical trial systems (EDC, CTMS, SSU, eTMF) to streamline operations, enhance transparency, and integrate AI and GenAI technologies
  • Collaborate with R&D teams, vendor organizations, and internal units to deliver end-to-end solutions
  • Define requirements, data structures, and design new systems/interfaces to improve the clinical operations ecosystem
  • Establish data standards, data flows, and integrations, ensuring smooth interactions with internal and external systems
  • Ensure user enablement and effective system configuration in collaboration with business process owners


Core skills/experience

  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience in clinical trial management or similar roles, focusing on clinical systems like EDC, CTMS, SSU, eTMF
  • Proven expertise in healthcare or pharmaceutical industry projects, with a solid understanding of regulatory requirements (GxP)
  • Strong knowledge of industry data standards, and experience with data integration technologies
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of bridging teams and managing stakeholders effectively
  • Full professional/native English
