Job description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Specialist to join our Integrated Supply Chain Logistics team, focusing on Temperature Management & Control (TM&C) within our Clinical Supply Chain. This role is crucial in managing clinical supplies during all phases of clinical trials, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing, Distribution, and Clinical Practices (GxP guidelines).
Objectives and Responsibilities:
As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for:
- Managing and prioritizing temperature excursion submissions and related requests in the shared mailbox.
- Developing strong internal collaborations with stakeholders across Global Development, Drug Product Development, Analytical Development, Quality, Trial & Supply Management, Clinical Supply Integration, and Logistics to ensure effective resolution of temperature excursions and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
- Coordinating quote requests and purchase order setups to centrally source temperature monitoring devices.
- Supporting business process improvement initiatives.
- Assisting with changes to the portfolio, including new trials, products, and integrations.
- Identifying opportunities for further integration with Logistics and supporting the Logistics Quality Events process, focusing on temperature excursion issues.
Profile Requirements:
Better to have (not mandatory):
- 1-2 years of professional experience in a clinical supply-related role (operations, logistics, quality, planning, development).
- Understanding of Clinical Supply Distribution, Clinical Study Execution, and GxP principles.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and an acute sense of urgency.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and daily operational activities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Workflow/process-oriented and stress-resilient.
Degree:
- A minimum of a university/bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) is required.
Languages:
- Proficiency in English is essential.
Location: FULL REMOTE position
Specific Know-How of Systems:
- Strong critical thinking and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong quality management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, graphs, VLOOKUP).
- Experience with business applications such as SAP Ariba, Quality Event Management Systems (e.g., Trackwise), and/or Interactive Response Technology (e.g., IVRS) is an advantage.
