DescriptionClinical Specialist Occupational Therapist (Motor Management) role within Children's Services, Dublin.
Responsibilities- Provide specialist occupational therapy support for children with complex disabilities, particularly physical disability and upper limb interventions.
- Conduct 24 hour postural management and other therapeutic interventions.
- Deliver individualised care plans aligned with best practice and research.
- Manage caseload effectively, maintain documentation, and collaborate with multi disciplinary teams.
- Contribute to clinical training and professional development within the organisation.
- BSc in Occupational Therapy or equivalent CORU registered occupational therapy qualification.
- Current CORU Occupational Therapy registration.
- Minimum 5 years post qualification experience.
- At least 3 years recent experience with complex children's disability, especially physical disability.
- Evidence of postgraduate training in upper limb interventions for children with disability.
- Full clean manual Irish driving licence.
- Proficiency in English.
- Demonstrated record of clinical/academic achievement and postgraduate education in the designated clinical area.
- Knowledge of PDS.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork, planning, organisation and time management skills.
- Level 2 behavioural competencies of Avista competency framework.
