We are looking for a passionate, focused and experienced Clinical Service Manager to join us at Cygnet Hospital Maidstone.
Cygnet Hospital Maidstone is a state-of-the-art, 63 bed mental health facility for adults located in the Kent Medical Campus in Maidstone.
Cygnet Hospital Maidstone is purpose built to meet the latest national specifications for improving mental health within a therapeutic environment and will provide an important and much needed service for local patients from Kent.

Job responsibilities- To provide direction and contemporary initiatives to drive and embed effective clinical practice and leadership for care delivery
- Ensure delivery of an optimum level of clinical and therapeutic care together with ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, quality standards and delivering against key performance indicators.
- As a member of the Senior Management, the role holder will play a key part in ensuring delivering the hospital strategy, providing operational and clinical leadership to the wider staff group in support of the Hospital Director and ensuring their departments operate within budget
- In conjunction with other Heads of Department, ensure that therapies provided are meaningful to the service user group, supports recovery and meet current NICE guidelines
- Monitor patient notes and ensure that multi disciplinary records are maintained according to policy and procedure
- A minimum of 3 years experience at a senior Management level, including managing change
- A Nurse Qualification with valid pin RNLD (Registered Learning Disability Nurse) / RMN (Registered Mental Health Nurse)
- Completed a recognised Leadership development program
- The ability to work as part of a team; lead by example, manage performance effectively and use own initiative
- Experience of working to CQC guidelines, relevant legislation and professional regulations
- Experience undertaking investigations and/or the ability to manage complaints appropriately and in a confidential manner
- RCNi membership
- Monthly reflective practice, support with revalidation & CPD opportunities
