The Opportunity
Are you ready to take your clinical negligence career to the next level? This leading and well-respected law firm is expanding its Clinical Negligence team and is looking for talented fee earners to join them in either their Leeds or York office. With a strong reputation for high-quality work and a supportive, collaborative culture, this is a brilliant chance to be part of a team handling complex, high-value claims while also building your own caseload and developing your career in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

Why this role?

  • You'll work side-by-side with experienced Senior Associates and Directors on technically challenging, multi-track claims that make a real difference.

  • You'll be trusted with your own caseload, suited to your experience and skills, allowing you to build confidence, capability, and expertise across a wide range of clinical negligence work.

  • Hybrid working, flexible arrangements, and a genuinely supportive team mean you'll have the balance you need to thrive both professionally and personally.

What will the role involve?

  • Assisting senior team members on complex, high-value clinical negligence cases.

  • Managing your own portfolio of lower-value or less complex claims, with full support as needed.

  • Playing a key part in a friendly, close-knit team known for its collaboration and excellence.

  • Working from either the Leeds or York office, with flexibility to split your time between home and the office.

Who should apply?

  • Qualified Solicitors, Legal Executives, or Trainee Solicitors close to qualification.

  • Individuals with experience in either Claimant or Defendant clinical negligence work.

  • Those who've managed a caseload independently or supported on complex matters.

What you'll bring to the team:

  • A passion for clinical negligence and a drive to deliver exceptional results for clients.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to digest and simplify complex medical and legal issues.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent organisation, time management, and attention to detail.

  • Confident using Microsoft Office and case management software, with experience of time recording.
