Clinical Negligence Lawyer, 3+ Years' Experience, Hertfordshire / Hybrid, £45 - £60 per hour DOE, Part-Time Maternity Cover. An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clinical Negligence Lawyer to join a highly regarded specialist team on a fixed-term maternity cover basis. • Manage a caseload of around 30 claimant Clinical Negligence matters, working independently while benefiting from support and guidance from experienced senior lawyers.
• Handle a varied range of complex cases, including misdiagnosis claims, psychiatric injury matters and fatal accident claims.
• Responsibilities will include gathering and analysing evidence, identifying legal issues, preparing schedules of loss, witness statements and Particulars of Claim, instructing Counsel and medical experts, and liaising with defendants.
• Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors or Legal Executives with a minimum of 3 years' experience handling claimant Clinical Negligence matters.
• The successful candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, excellent organisational and IT skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload independently.
• This is a part-time position working 3-4 days per week, offering flexible hybrid working arrangements and an excellent opportunity to join a specialist and supportive team.
