This role will see you working on a high-quality caseload of clinical negligence matters and inquests. This role offers exposure to complex, high-profile cases with significant impact across the healthcare sector and is ideal for candidates with a strong interest in clinical negligence and healthcare law. This Clinical Negligence Associate role will see you:

  • Running a varied caseload of clinical negligence matters.
  • Acting for a broad range of healthcare sector clients.
  • Supporting preparation for inquests and assisting on more complex claims.
  • Managing client relationships and attending relevant events.
  • Providing clear, commercially focused legal advice.
  • Supporting wider team projects and business development.

What you'll need to succeed

  • UK Qualified Solicitor or CILEX with full litigation rights (NQ+).
  • Claimant or defendant experience in clinical negligence (defendant experience is preferable)
  • Strong communication and client-handling skills.
  • Understanding of insurance and coverage issues is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, drafting and organisational capabilities.
