Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse to join the ICELS clinical team. The role is suitable for an existing Band 7 or for a Band 6 with the relevant skills and experience.

You will need excellent knowledge of a wide range of pressure relieving equipment and its use within pressure ulcer prevention strategies. Experience of working within a tissue viability environment would be desirable.

You will provide highly specialised nursing support to the ICELS team and to health and social care professionals using the service. The clinical team aims to improve evidence-based practice, knowledge and skills, leading on improvements and efficiencies to enhance the provision of equipment across LLR. Working closely with commissioning partners, we manage demand, promote a consistent approach to equipment provision, offer cost effective equipment solutions and achieve value for money.

The role also includes management of the ICELS Review and Equipment Triage Team, including day-to-day supervision and planning.

This is a permanent full-time position (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday) and will be based at the Medequip depot in Glen Parva, however the team does take a hybrid working approach.
