Main duties of the job

In order to be considered applicants must meet the following essential criteria:
- MRCS or FRCS qualification
- Intercollegiate Exit Examination or equivalent

Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at time of application is required.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

The Fellowship is designed for trainees who want to pursue a career in Otology and Hearing Implantation. Candidates should have at least four years' experience as a Specialty Registrar in a Type 1 post and hold the FRCS (ORL-HNS) exit examination or equivalent.

This Fellowship offers exposure to all aspects of complex Otological practice and Hearing Implantation under the guidance of 6 Otologists. It is expected that the successful applicant will have good core otological skills and a desire to be involved in Departmental research opportunities.
