The Vet Office is recruiting an experienced Farm Animal Veterinarian for an exciting Clinical Director opportunity at a well-established and progressive veterinary practice in Ireland.

This position combines hands-on farm veterinary work with leadership responsibilities, offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced vet looking to progress professionally.

The Role

You'll work with a varied farm animal caseload:

• 40% Dairy
• 40% Beef
• 20% Sheep

Key responsibilities:

• Herd health planning, fertility and preventative medicine.
• Providing high-quality veterinary care to farm clients.
• Leading and mentoring the veterinary team.
• Managing the farm animal department and supporting its continued growth.
• Building strong relationships with farmers.

Requirements

• Veterinary degree eligible for registration with the VCI.
• Several years of farm animal veterinary experience.
• Strong knowledge of dairy and beef cattle.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Leadership experience or a genuine interest in developing management skills.
• Good level of English.

Previous Clinical Director experience is not essential.
