Job overview Due to the continued growth of our service, we are seeking enthusiastic and experienced Accredited Clinical Coders (ACC) to join our expanding Clinical Coding Team.

We welcome applications from ACC-qualified coders across the UK. Applicants should have practical clinical coding experience and be confident in the application of ICD-10 and OPCS-4 classifications.

Main duties of the job The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a high-quality clinical coding service across the Trust, ensuring accurate and timely clinical coding in line with national standards, guidelines and reporting requirements.

You will have:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in your coding abilities

A proactive approach to maintaining high standards of coding accuracy and data quality

A sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology

The ability to manage a varied workload effectively in a busy environment and consistently meet deadlines

Applicants will be required to provide evidence of attendance at an accredited Clinical Coding Standards Course and, where applicable, a Clinical Coding Refresher Course.
