Job Description
Clinical Laboratory Technician III (Technical Support) 
Location: Fully Onsite
Contract Duration: 12 Months
OverviewThis role involves performing a range of technical and laboratory procedures to support production, research and development, quality, and compliance activities. The position requires a seasoned technician capable of working with limited supervision while contributing to process improvements and supporting junior staff.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine laboratory procedures, including:
- Preparing solutions and reagents
- Conducting routine reactions
- Make and record observations, perform calculations, and collect data for evaluation
- Support laboratory operations by:
- Stocking and distributing supplies
- Setting up and dismantling equipment
- Cleaning and storing glassware
- Maintain accurate technical records in compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Analyze compounds and manage compound collections (where applicable)
- Carry out technical procedures across:
- Production
- Research & Development
- Quality Control / Assurance
- Compliance / Environmental
- Technical Support Duties
- Provide technical support across areas such as:
- Production and operations
- Maintenance and safety
- Testing and process improvement
- Product development
- Interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical instructions
- Perform testing and troubleshooting on equipment and systems
- Gather, format, and analyze technical data using established methods
- Conduct detailed mathematical calculations
- Identify and suggest improvements to optimize processes
- Operates as a seasoned individual contributor
- Works with limited supervision
- Supports and trains junior team members
- Leads minor projects, including:
- Testing
- Data interpretation
- Report development
- Executes technical tasks requiring sound judgment
- May own and manage smaller projects
- Handles non-routine technical assignments
- Addresses general technical challenges
- Analyzes issues and proposes solutions independently
- Communicates with internal stakeholders
- Shares and gathers technical information relevant to the role
- Provides guidance, coaching, and training within the team
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
- Broad knowledge of operational systems, techniques, and practices
- Vocational or technical education and/or certification preferred
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem solving skills
