Job Description

Client Services Manager

Location: Bristol / Hybrid

Salary: Up to £55,000 + shares

I'm supporting my friends, a Bristol-based FinTech (for good), who are looking for a Customer Success Manager to join the team at an exciting stage of their growth.

The business builds technology for the investment industry, working with some of the world's largest financial institutions. Its mission is centred around helping investors have a greater voice in the companies they invest in, particularly across areas such as climate, gender and human rights.

They're now looking for someone to take ownership of the client journey - from the moment a deal is signed, through onboarding and implementation, into an ongoing strategic partnership.

The Role

This is a hands-on Client Success role with a strong element of project and delivery management.

You'll be the main point of contact for clients and take ownership of the plan, bringing together internal teams across research, data, operations and engineering to make sure implementations land successfully.

Once clients are live, you'll continue to own the relationship, running regular check-ins and governance, ensuring they're getting genuine value from the service and identifying opportunities to grow the partnership.

You'll also have the opportunity to shape how Client Success operates as the business scales, building repeatable onboarding processes, playbooks and documentation rather than simply inheriting an established function.

What They're Looking For

Ideally, you'll bring:

  • Around 5-10 years' experience in client-facing project, delivery or client success roles
  • Experience running complex client projects from start to finish
  • Exposure to financial services, asset management, asset ownership, stewardship, proxy voting or a FinTech serving these markets
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders within large financial institutions
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate multiple internal teams
  • Commercial awareness and an ability to spot opportunities to expand existing relationships
  • Experience supporting pricing and/or contracting conversations
  • The ability to adapt your approach between large global institutions and smaller clients
  • An interest in improving and building client experiences, rather than simply following an existing process

Above all, they're looking for someone who can own the client relationship, hold the room when things get difficult and keep complex projects moving.

Package & Culture

Alongside a salary of up to £55k, the package includes a generous company share scheme, private healthcare, 5% employer pension contribution, £50 monthly wellness allowance, 33 days' holiday, enhanced maternity and paternity policies and flexible working hours.

The team operates a hybrid model with at least two days per week in Bristol, alongside a monthly company-wide team day.

It's a great opportunity for someone who wants to combine financial services, technology, client delivery and commercial relationship management within a purpose-led, growing FinTech.
