Client Onboarding Executive

This role is perfect for a compliance-focused professional with experience in Client Due Diligence (CDD) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) processes, offering a supportive and professional environment to develop your career.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Conduct detailed CDD and AML checks for new and existing clients.
  • Assess client risk profiles and identify potential compliance concerns.
  • Verify client documentation and ensure records remain accurate and up to date.
  • Investigate client backgrounds, ownership structures, and business activities.
  • Escalate high-risk or suspicious matters to the appropriate compliance team.
  • Support the implementation and enhancement of AML policies, procedures, and controls in line with UK regulations.
  • Assist in developing clearer and more robust onboarding processes.
  • Monitor and report unusual activity that may indicate potential money laundering or fraud.
  • Keep up to date with changes in AML legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients throughout the onboarding process.
  • Guide clients through AML and CDD requirements and respond to related queries.
  • Maintain accurate compliance records for reporting and audit purposes.
  • Prepare compliance reports for senior stakeholders and compliance teams as required.
  • Work closely with compliance and risk teams to promote best practice across the business.
  • Promote effective file management and administrative standards.
  • Undertake additional duties as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in client onboarding, CDD, and AML.
  • Strong understanding of AML regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding client service and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
