Sterling Williams are working alongside a fantastic Wealth Management firm based in the West End of London, they are seeking a Client Life-Cycle Specialist to join the team on a permanent basis.
Job Responsibilities
Assist the business and senior members of the Client Life-Cycle Team to provide oversight and control at all stages of the client onboarding journey, facing off with all areas of the business internally and, importantly, with clients directly to guide them through their on-boarding journey.
Liaise with colleagues throughout the business to coordinate and deliver a high level of service to clients.
Maintain control of the client static data, to ensure its accuracy at both on-boarding and throughout the client relationship. Additionally, consider the knock-on effects of data changes within the systems from a data-hygiene and regulatory perspective.
Identifying and specifying improvements to these work areas - both procedural and IT based - and then working with project resources to implement these.
Work / manage projects as and when required within areas that touch upon our responsibilities. This will most likely be to cleanse data and to improve processes.
Background/experience and competencies required
Basic understanding, and a desire to grow knowledge, in all areas of client take on for Private Clients, Private Client structures (SIPPs, Trusts, PICs etc), and Charities.
Appreciation of Anti Money-Laundering and compliance requirements and a desire to advance knowledge over time.
Familiarity of global tax reporting standards specifically CRS and FATCA.
Awareness of other regulations (MiFiD II, Transaction reporting, RDR etc)
Understanding of the US QI Regulations specifically w-series forms.
A working understanding of the asset/wealth management industry.
Excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work unsupervised and be self-motivated.
Ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines and multitask.
Strong communications skills both written and verbal.
Confident and clear communicator who can speak with clients and staff at all levels.
Qualifications
Qualifications required:
Minimum of 5 GCSE's grade A-C or equivalent qualification
Qualifications desired:
2 A'Levels grade A-D or equivalent qualification
University degree
The Investment Operations Certification would be looked upon favourably
Conduct Risk - Mandatory
This role is subject to the Conduct Rules set by the FCA.
You are required to familiarise yourself with, and comply with, the Conduct Rules and their successors and complete such ongoing training and competence requirements as required by the FCA and the Company from time to time. This includes passing an annual fitness and propriety assessment.
