Brief description

We are looking to appoint a client executive within the invoice finance team, responsible for credit control and ledger risk management. The candidate should demonstrate good teamwork skills and an aptitude for managing debtor relationships.

Purpose of the role

Support Relationship Managers in delivering invoice finance facilities, including credit control, ledger verification, and payment processing, while identifying threats to security.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and debtors
  • Conduct telephone and email credit control
  • Maintain accurate notes
  • Complete invoice discounting reconciliation reports (if applicable)
  • Identify security threats through ledger verification and chasing
  • Analyze invoices and credit notes
  • Prepare monthly compliance reports
  • Raise payments according to mandates
  • Support the invoice team in achieving objectives
  • Identify new business opportunities from collection activities
  • Process bank statements daily
About You Skills
  • Experienced credit controller
  • IT literate: proficient in Word, Outlook, Excel
  • Excellent telephone manner, firm yet gentle as appropriate
  • Credible engagement with business owners and relationship development skills
  • Team player, flexible, helpful attitude
  • Organized, able to manage time effectively under pressure
  • Professional, able to handle confidential information
  • Desire to learn and develop industry knowledge
Qualifications and experience
