Client Care - Receptionist

The Neighbourhood Vet, East Dulwich, London

We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at The Neighbourhood Vets on a full time basis. This is a fixed term contract for 6 months, with the potential to be extended or become permanent.

The Neighbourhood Vet is a 20 vet practice in SE London, established over 12 years ago. Our main hospital is on Lordship Lane, and our two branch clinics are in Crofton Park and Penge.

How You'll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction. You'll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

You will work 40 hours per week, covering a variety of shifts including 1:4 weekends.

General responsibilities include:

• Greeting our clients and their pets in a professional and courteous manner
• Dealing with queries by phone, email, and face to face
• Advising clients on preventative health care products
• General admin and reception duties
