The role
We are seeking an experienced Property Partnerships Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of Private Rented Sector (PRS) and supported living properties during a period of portfolio reduction.
This is a commercially focused, client-facing role combining property management oversight, financial reporting, contractual compliance and relationship management. You will also support the onboarding of new contracts, monitor revenue streams and ensure management agreements are implemented effectively.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Private Rented Sector, with experience in operational property management or a senior property management position. You will be commercially minded, confident managing complex client relationships and comfortable taking ownership of performance, reporting and contractual delivery.
This is a hybrid role, with travel required to attend client meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver regular client performance meetings, preparing reports and presentations in line with contractual requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for a key client, managing escalations and overseeing service delivery in collaboration with operational teams.
- Coordinate and deliver monthly KPI reporting packs, ensuring reports are accurate and submitted on time.
- Oversee financial reporting, including profit and loss (P&L), budgets, operating expenditure (OPEX) and relevant revenue and cost reporting.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Support internal budget-setting processes, working closely with finance and business partners to ensure effective financial planning.
- Work with operational and mobilisation teams to ensure new management contracts are implemented effectively and properties are onboarded in line with agreed contractual requirements.
- Ensure pricing schedules and management agreements are clearly communicated and followed by operational teams.
- Monitor contractual revenue streams, ensuring agreed charges and scheduled uplifts are applied correctly and on time.
- Manage monthly invoicing across relevant revenue streams, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements.
- Prepare month-end financial commentary, highlighting performance, risks and opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, service delivery and commercial performance while maintaining contractual compliance.
