Cleaning Operative - Portsmouth

Location: Acorn Business Centre, North Harbour Road, Cosham, Portsmouth, PO6 3TH

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour PAYE

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 8:00am (5 hours per week)

Contract: Temporary position with potential for permanent opportunities

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional Cleaning Operative to work within a secure commercial environment in Portsmouth.

This role is ideal for someone seeking part-time morning work who is comfortable working independently and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and security.

Duties will include:

• General office cleaning
  
• Cleaning desks, workstations and touch points
  
• Vacuuming and mopping floors
  
• Cleaning washrooms and toilet facilities
  
• Cleaning kitchens and communal areas
  
• Emptying bins and replenishing consumables
  
• Ensuring all areas are maintained to a high standard
  
• Adhering to all health, safety and security procedures
  

Requirements:

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable
  
• Ability to work independently and as a lone worker
  
• Comfortable acting as a key holder and operating alarm systems where required
  
• Good attention to detail and reliability
  
• Ability to use a telephone-based time and attendance system
  
• Valid Right to Work documentation must be provided prior to induction
  
• Successful candidates will be required to complete a DBS check as part of the pre-employment screening process
