Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operative to work at a medical unit located within Asda Inverness .

This temporary role runs from 9th August to 24th August 2026 and involves maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic healthcare environment to a high standard. You will work independently for 2-hour shifts across six days each week.

Key Responsibilities

• General cleaning of the medical unit
  
• Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors
  
• Cleaning treatment rooms, staff areas and communal areas
  
• Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables
  
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely
  
• Following all health and safety and infection control procedures
  
• Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns
  

Candidate Requirements

• Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred
  
• Experience cleaning healthcare or medical environments is advantageous
  
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
  
• Excellent attention to detail
  
• Available to work from 9th August to 24th August 2026
  
• Able to work Monday to Friday and Sunday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm
  
• Right to work in the UK
