Cleaner (Chester)

Your new companyWe are currently recruiting for an experienced cleaner to join a busy social housing team covering properties across the Chester area. This is a 35-hour-per-week position offering consistent work with an established housing provider.The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining communal areas and ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.Your new role

• Cleaning communal areas within residential blocks
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
• Cleaning stairwells, corridors, entrances, and communal facilities
• Removing litter and general waste from internal and external areas
• Cleaning windows, doors, handrails, and touch points
• Monitoring and reporting maintenance issues or health and safety concerns
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous cleaning experience, ideally within social housing, residential, or public sector environments
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Strong attention to detail
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures
