• Job Type: Part-time, Temporary
• Hours: 15:30 - 17:30, Monday to Friday
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: Immediate start until mid-January
• Pay: Competitive hourly rate

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join a friendly school environment on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and communal areas.
• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting designated areas.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Replenishing consumables such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels.
• Ensuring all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly.
• Reporting any maintenance issues or health and safety concerns to the appropriate person.
• Following school cleaning schedules and procedures at all times.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional at all times.
• Understanding of health and safety practices within a cleaning environment.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable, or willingness to obtain one.
