Job Details- Start date: September 2026
- Contract: Permanent
- Hours: 14.25 Hours per Week
- Working year: 42 weeks per year (term time + 3 weeks)
- Grade: 1, SCP 3 (pro rata)
We are a Multi Academy Trust comprising six secondary schools and one primary school with over 750 employees and over 5,500 students, based in Dudley, West Midlands. Kinver High School is a thriving, inclusive school committed to supporting all students in achieving their full potential.
ResponsibilitiesCleaners are responsible for a wide range of cleaning duties, ensuring the school is cleaned daily to the required standard/specification. They must use safety equipment, wear appropriate protective clothing, use warning signs, and observe hazards to staff and students. Compliance with the Trust's Health and Safety practices is mandatory.
Qualifications & ExperiencePrevious experience working in a school or other educational setting is desirable but not essential. A willingness to learn and adapt to the school environment is required.
Working HoursThe role offers flexibility with early morning or afternoon shifts. The patterns are as follows:
- Morning: Mon 7 30am, Tue 7:00 9:30am, Wed 7:00 9:30am, Thu 7:00 9:30am, Fri 7 15am
- Afternoon: Mon 2:30 6:00pm, Tue 3:30 6:00pm, Wed 3:30 6:00pm, Thu 3:30 6:00pm, Fri 2:30 5:45pm

In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2025, the Trust will carry out an online search for all shortlisted candidates to identify any publicly available incidents or concerns that may pose a safeguarding risk.
