Salary: Scale 1 Point 3 (£24,796 pro rata per annum, £7,561 actual per annum)
Contract: Monday to Friday 3:30 - 6:00pm (12.5 hours per week), Permanent contract for 41 weeks per year (term time, plus training days, plus two additional weeks in late August to facilitate a deep clean).

About the RoleWe are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals to help maintain our outstanding learning environment through a mix of routine and ad hoc cleaning tasks. The Site Manager leads a team of cleaners within the broader Business Support Team, which supports all non educational functions including operations, facilities, admissions, finance, marketing, HR, governance and SLT support.
The role suits people who enjoy a physical job, have a keen eye for detail and enjoy seeing the results of their work each day. Successful candidates will be approachable, flexible, and have a positive, 'can do' attitude. All colleagues are expected to conduct themselves professionally and to model expected workplace behaviours to young people.
Responsibilities- Perform routine cleaning tasks across the college premises.
- Carry out ad hoc cleaning duties as required.
- Support the Site Manager in coordinating daily cleaning activities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Reliable and hardworking with a strong work ethic.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for cleanliness.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
