Salary is full time equivalent.
To carry out cleaning duties to the required standard and specified work schedule as directed by the Cleaning Supervisor. This will involve providing a cleaning service across all areas of the College which may include the cleaning of classrooms, kitchens, washroom and changing areas, public and communal walkways and spaces.

Key Responsibilities- To undertake various cleaning tasks i.e. general dusting of furniture, fixtures and fittings, brushing, polishing, mopping and washing areas.
- To ensure that washrooms, changing rooms and toilets are cleaned to the required standard daily.
- To provide appropriate cleaning of walls, floors and glass surfaces. To use machinery provided to vacuum, shampoo carpets, spray clean and to report any faults identified to the Cleaning Supervisor.
- To ensure that all refuse and recycling is collected daily and delivered to the waste compound in the car park.
- To ensure that you have sufficient cleaning products and materials to carry out the job, and to inform the Cleaning Supervisor when you need replacements.
- To carry out any other tasks that are reasonably expected in the course of your work.
- No specific educational qualifications are required.
- Demonstrate knowledge of current cleaning techniques.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Health and Safety issues (General) and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH).
- Demonstrate experience of general cleaning activities.
- Demonstrate ability to undertake a range of manual cleaning activities.
