Job Overview

Grade B - SCP 3, 12.5 hours per week term time plus 3 weeks. Permanent. Start Date: ASAP. Closing Date: Tuesday 31st March 2026 at 12:00 noon. Interviews week commencing 20th April 2026.

Responsibilities

The Governors and Head teacher of Grove Vale Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated person to join the premises team. You will be responsible for the cleaning of premises and furnishings under the direction of the Site Manager/Business Manager.

Requirements

• Good interpersonal skills
• Trustworthy, reliable and punctual
• Previous experience not essential; full training will be provided.

Working Hours

• 6:00 am - 8:30 am or 3:30 pm - 6:00 pm, Monday-Friday (to be confirmed)
• 12.5 hours per week (term time plus 3 weeks)

Location and Contract

Grove Vale Primary School, Monksfield Avenue, Great Barr, B43 6AL. Permanent contract. Band B, SCP 3 (annual £7,797, £12.85-£13.05 per hour, living wage supplement to £13.45 per hour payable from 1st April 2026).
