Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 (Cat C) HIAB Driver to work for a well-established building materials company based in Coalville.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HIAB driver looking for ongoing work, competitive pay and the opportunity to work with a reputable company.

The Role

As a Class 2 HIAB Driver, you will be responsible for delivering building materials to customers, businesses and construction sites.

Your duties will include:

• Driving a Class 2 (Cat C) HGV vehicle
• Operating a HIAB crane to load and unload materials
• Delivering building materials safely and efficiently
• Completing deliveries to customer and construction sites
• Securing loads correctly
• Completing relevant delivery paperwork
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Providing excellent customer service
• Following all Drivers' Hours, WTD and health & safety regulations

Tramping is not compulsory, although there may be opportunities for overnight stays for drivers who would like them.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Valid Class 2 (Cat C) HGV licence
• Previous HIAB experience
• Valid HIAB qualification/certificate
• Valid CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of Drivers' Hours regulations
• Good driving record
• Reliable and professional attitude
• Comfortable with customer-facing deliveries
